Greenwich, CT — February 25, 2026 — Sterling Care Home Health Services has been recognized as a “High Performing” home health agency in the inaugural 2026 U.S. News & World Report Best Home Health ratings.

The U.S. News ratings evaluated more than 12,000 home health agencies nationwide using quality data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Agencies earning the “High Performing” designation demonstrated strong outcomes in restoring patient mobility, helping individuals regain independence with daily activities, initiating care quickly after referral, and delivering high levels of patient satisfaction.

“This recognition is a reflection of our dedicated clinicians and staff who serve patients and families across lower Fairfield County every day,” said Steven Katz, President at Sterling Care. “As more care transitions from hospitals to the home, ensuring high-quality, outcomes-driven services locally is essential for our community.”

Home health care plays a vital role in supporting seniors and medically complex patients recovering from surgery, illness, or hospitalization. High-performing home-based care can help prevent unnecessary rehospitalizations, promote independence, and support aging in place.

Sterling Care is proud to be part of the Greenwich business and healthcare community and remains committed to delivering compassionate, accountable, and evidence-based care in the home.
