Greenwich Land Trust Invites Community to Celebrate 26 Years of Go Wild! at the Greenwich Polo Club
Greenwich, CT — The community is invited to join Greenwich Land Trust (GLT) for Go Wild!, the organization’s annual Family Field Day, on Sunday, October 19, from 2:00–5:30 PM at the Greenwich Polo Club.
Now in its 26th year, Go Wild! is GLT’s largest annual fundraiser and a beloved fall family tradition, offering fun and entertainment for children of all ages — and adults too.
The polo grounds will be alive with games, activities, and music. Adults can enjoy live music by Sasco Dead, while kids will sing and dance along with Jumpin’ Jams in the Children’s Tent. Highlights include Soccer with Aldwin, a rock-climbing wall, gaga courts, pony rides, a petting zoo, inflatable corn maze, bungee trampolines, arts and crafts, a “Jumbo Truck Experience” for little truck lovers, and much more.
And don’t miss the iconic Ferris wheel, offering guests a breathtaking aerial view over Conyers Farm and GLT’s 62-acre preserve below.
The all-inclusive ticket price covers unlimited rides, games, and activities, along with a variety of delicious food and beverages. Enjoy food truck favorites from Tacoish, Walter’s Hot Dogs, New Haven Pizza Truck, Garden Catering, and Van Leeuwen Ice Cream. Water is generously provided by Aquarion Water Company, and adult beverages will be served courtesy of Top Hops.
“This annual event is a wonderful way to bring families together while raising awareness about the importance of open space,” said Event Co-Chairs Emmy Bealle, Farrell Crowley, and Annie Murray. “The Polo Club property is part of one of the largest conservation easements overseen and cared for by Greenwich Land Trust, so it’s the perfect setting to celebrate our community’s connection to nature.”
Proceeds from Go Wild! directly support Greenwich Land Trust’s mission to protect natural resources, local character, and scenic beauty through open space preservation and environmental education.
