JMC Getaways Launches Shared-Impact Group Travel Initiative
Greenwich-based JMC Getaways is introducing a new Shared-Impact Group Travel Initiative designed to transform qualifying group travel into a force for meaningful community benefit.
The initiative activates with group bookings of 10 or more travelers and allows a portion of internally generated travel revenue and supplier compensation to help support philanthropic, educational, wellness, youth, and community-focused initiatives — without increasing the traveler’s cost.
JMC Getaways believes travel experiences can create value far beyond the journey itself by helping strengthen local communities, support children and families, encourage wellness initiatives, and contribute toward meaningful causes.
The company is exploring future support opportunities connected to:
- youth development,
- educational experiences,
- wellness and mental health programs,
- mentorship initiatives,
- family support services,
- athlete and leadership programs,
- and organizations dedicated to strengthening communities throughout Greenwich and the surrounding region.
“Travel already generates enormous economic value globally,” said Joseph Corrar, founder of JMC Getaways. “We believe some of the compensation normally paid within the travel ecosystem can also be used in meaningful ways to help strengthen communities, support families, and create positive impact beyond the trip itself.”
Through destination weddings, sports travel, corporate retreats, wellness experiences, alumni programs, and luxury group travel, JMC Getaways hopes to help pioneer a future where travel not only creates unforgettable experiences, but also helps give back in ways that matter.
