From the Cookie Cart to Paris: The Story Behind “Cookies Around the World with Kira”

JMC Getaways and Sweet Daydreams Bake Shop Launch “Cookies Around the World with Kira

Two entrepreneurs transform a shared vision into an experiential travel concept beginning in Paris in May 2027

Some of the most interesting entrepreneurial ideas emerge when two businesses that appear to have little in common discover that their strengths are unexpectedly compatible.

That is the story behind “Cookies Around the World with Kira,” a new collaboration between JMC Getaways, founded by Joseph Corrar, and Sweet Daydreams Bake Shop, led by Kira Provenzano.

The concept will make its debut in Paris, France, May 10–13, 2027, bringing together travel, baking and cultural discovery in an experience designed around Provenzano’s perspective as a baker and creative entrepreneur.

But Paris was not where the idea began.

The collaboration traces back to June 2026, when Corrar encountered what Provenzano was building through Sweet Daydreams and recognized something larger than a baking business. She had created a distinctive identity around her work, one shaped by creativity, presentation, personality and the connection she creates with customers.

Corrar saw potential in taking that identity somewhere entirely new.

What began as an idea involving international cookie traditions developed through months of conversation into a larger proposition: What if travel could become another canvas for the Sweet Daydreams story?

Cookies Around the World with Kira was born from that question.

Different Businesses. Complementary Strengths.

A travel agency and a bake shop may not be an obvious pairing. That is precisely what makes the collaboration interesting.

Sweet Daydreams creates through baking. JMC Getaways creates through travel. Both are ultimately in the business of creating memorable experiences.

Provenzano brings the baker’s eye, creative instinct and personality behind Sweet Daydreams. Corrar brings the travel strategy, destination development, supplier relationships and operational expertise of JMC Getaways.

Neither business is being reinvented to accommodate the other.

Instead, the concept builds upon what each has already established.

That distinction matters. Strong entrepreneurial collaborations do not necessarily require businesses to become more alike. Often, their value lies in combining capabilities that are fundamentally different.

Cookies Around the World is where those capabilities meet.

Paris: The First Chapter

Paris offers an extraordinary setting in which to put the idea into practice.

Its traditions of pastry, chocolate, culinary craftsmanship, presentation, fashion and culture provide Provenzano with an opportunity to experience her profession through a different cultural lens.

Travelers will share in that discovery.

A pâtisserie can become more than a sightseeing stop. A flavor, technique, presentation or conversation can reveal something about French culture while potentially providing Provenzano with inspiration she carries back to Sweet Daydreams.

That is an important distinction in the experience: Paris is not simply the destination. It becomes part of the creative process.

The 3-night, 4-day journey is planned for seven travelers plus Provenzano and is priced at $3,795 per person. The experience includes accommodations at Sofitel Le Scribe Paris Opéra with breakfast, shared airport transfers, sightseeing, a Le Marais Pastry and Chocolate Tour, a Premier Bateaux Parisiens Seine Dinner Cruise and the hosted Cookies Around the World experience.

Independent time will also give travelers—and Provenzano—space for the unexpected discoveries that cannot be engineered into an itinerary.

Taking an Idea Beyond Its Original Setting

For Corrar, the collaboration reflects the direction he continues to develop through JMC Getaways, a Connecticut and Long Island, New York-based travel agency focused on personalized, experiential and culturally immersive travel.

His approach increasingly centers on people, passions and places, using the mechanics of travel to create experiences with a human story at their center.

For Provenzano, the concept demonstrates another dimension of entrepreneurship: a business does not have to abandon its origins in order to grow beyond them.

A cookie is a product. But around that product, an entrepreneur can build a recognizable point of view, a relationship with customers and an experience people associate with the business.

Those qualities can create opportunities far beyond the place where the business began.

That is what makes Cookies Around the World with Kira more than the title of a Paris trip.

It represents an opportunity to take something already authentic to Sweet Daydreams, Provenzano’s relationship with baking and creativity, and place it in conversation with the world.

Paris is the first chapter. Future journeys could introduce different destinations, baking traditions, flavors and cultures, allowing the concept to evolve without either business surrendering the identity that made the partnership valuable in the first place.

Sweet Daydreams brings the creative lens. JMC Getaways brings the world within reach.

And somewhere between the two, a new idea has taken shape.

In May 2027, that idea travels to Paris.
