Sound Beach Volunteer Fire Department Fundraiser
Clean out your home or business of unwanted documents, old computers and electronics and dispose of them in a secure and environmentally friendly manner on Saturday, April 21.The paper shredding and ''eCycling'' fundraiser for the Sound Beach Volunteer Fire Department will be from 9 am to 1pm in the rear parking lot of the fire house in central Old Greenwich located at 207 Sound Beach Avenue. Cost is $20 for up to 3 boxes of documents for shredding and $5 for each electronic item. Computer hard drives will be destroyed while you watch for permanent data protection for $20 each. Use this ideal time following the April tax season bring in old documents and electronics for this spring cleaning event. All paper is shredded while you watch for piece-of-mind protection. Both shredded paper and electronics are then recycled to help the environment. Money raised from the event will help support the firefighting and rescue mission of the Sound Beach Volunteer Fire Department founded in 1904This year we will offer a discount to Chamber members - they can recycle up to 3 boxes of documents for $15 with each additional box $5 dollars. (Limited to Greenwich Chamber of Commerce Members with identification.)
