For more information on the book or the author, please visit: agapanthusrising.com **************** ABOUT THE AUTHOR ROXANA BOWGEN is the Founder of Volunteers on Call, Inc., an all-volunteer 501 (c) (3) humanitarian agency based in Greenwich, Connecticut. She has led service teams to Rwanda, Kenya, Peru, Costa Rica, and the Caribbean as well as in the United States. She is donating part of the proceeds from sales of this book to the ongoing work of VOC, Inc. A former metals trader with Phibro-Salomon, Inc., Roxana is a business development professional, entrepreneur, global service leader, and a broker with Sotheby?s International Realty. Roxana has led workshops on real estate and created the En- trepreneurs Club, which focuses on Business Development, Field Training, and Branding. She is an organizer, facilitator, and results-oriented leader who serves on the Profession- al Standards and Scholarship Committees of the Greenwich Board of Realtors. In 2005, she was the recipient of the Con- necticut Association of Realtors Good Neighbor Award. Roxana has served on the Board of Directors of Community Centers, Inc. in Greenwich, Connecticut, which addresses the needs of underserved populations. Roxana was also the Chairperson of the Missions Committee of the United Methodist Church of Greenwich as well as a lay speaker for the Southwestern Conference from 2000-2004. She created and facilitated classes on personal and spiritual development. Roxana is a gifted public speaker, motivator, and inspirational force. She has travelled extensively and is drawn to Eastern philosophies. She plans to return to India and Nepal to continue her studies in yoga, meditation, and spirituality. Roxana was born in Peru and grew up in Beverly Hills, California. She is a long time Greenwich resident.
