ACGT 10th Anniversary Celebration: New Frontiers
The Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy (ACGT) is celebrating its tenth anniversary on Thursday, April 19, 2012, with a tribute dinner honoring co-founder Edward Netter (1932-2011). The evening appropriately titled New Frontiers will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Greenwich, Connecticut. Robert Bazell, chief science and health correspondent for NBC News, will be the keynote speaker. For tickets, please visit www.ACGTFoundation.org or call 203-358-8000 or email mailto:ghastings@acgtfoundation.org.Edward Netter was the visionary, who together with his wife Barbara sought New Frontiers to ease and erase the ravages of cancer. The result of their years of dedication is the breakthrough science, such as the recent and promising study on leukemia that exceeded the 'wildest expectations,' and was made possible by the Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy. Please celebrate Edward Netter's life and his vision by joining ACGT for this special tribute. ACGT anticipates that this event will be fully subscribed, so please make plans early. There are many options of support available. Barbara Netter, president and co-founder of ACGT, and Sharon Walsted Phillips, ACGT board member, are co-chairs of the event.Individual Tickets: $375; other support levels from $750 to $25,000.ACGT 10th Anniversary Celebration: New Frontiers6:30 p.m., Thursday, April 19, 2012Hyatt Regency Greenwich?1800 E.
