2019 September Educational Seminar: Required Business Training For Every Organization By October 2020
Did you know that Connecticut has just expanded its Sexual Harassment Prevention laws to require all employers of any size with three or more employees to conduct sexual harassment training? This training must be completed by October 1, 2020 .That means that the original threshold of 50 employees is no longer valid.
- New employees hired after October 1, 2019 must receive sexual harassment training within six months of hire
- Employers must provide periodic supplemental training that updates all employees on the contents of the sexual harassment training not less than every ten years
- The training and education should include information concerning the federal and state statutory provisions concerning sexual harassment and remedies available to victims of sexual harassment
