DESCRIPTION:Merchants in downtown Greenwich and Old Greenwich support the fundraising effort for Swim Across America Greenwich-Stamford by donating a percentage of the day's sales to the nonprofit. Look for the red\, white and blue Swim Across America balloons at participating retailers and help make waves in the fight against cancer. Participating merchants in Greenwich include: Garden Catering - Hamilton Ave location J.Crew Lily Pulitzer SPLURGE Vineyard Vines Participating merchants in Old Greenwich and Riverside include: Back40 Mercantile Chopt Claudette Fred Garden Catering Images Swim Across America unites the swimming community by hosting benefit swims that raise money to fund life saving cancer research and clinical trials. Proceeds from our event will support Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy\, (ACGT). Based in Stamford\, ACGT is the nation's only foundation dedicated exclusively to funding cancer gene therapy research. 100% of SAA grants are applied to the approved clinical trial or research project and not to other things such as overhead and buildings.
