DESCRIPTION:Free Family Concert Curiosity Concerts present NATION BEAT Scott Kettner and Nation Beat's live shows have taken on an almost mythological aura for their ability to lift the souls\, and the feet\, of their growing cross-cultural audience. The band's music melds Brazilian rhythms   maracatu\, coco and forro   with New Orleans funk\, rock\, jazz\, bluegrass and country blues. On September 29th\, drummer/percussionist Scott Kettner and the band will continue to explore the traditional sounds of New Orleans and Brazil. This concert is presented as part of a community music celebration at Western Middle School (WMS) spearheaded by WMS and Greenwich Public Schools\, in support of Playing for Change and global music education. Curiosity Concerts is directing all donations for this concert to the Playing For Change Foundation to support global music education.
