Greenwich Avenue will be transformed into the ultimate high fashion catwalk with an evening of style in celebration of its annual Fashion on the Avenue event on Thursday, September 10, 2015. Greenwich Avenue will be closed Elm Street to Havemeyer Place for a live outdoor red carpet runway show featuring local retailers and designers. This is a new location for the event this year and will include a car show and entertainment. This year commemorates the fifth year of the show. Greenwich Fashion on the Avenue has become a highly anticipated event, drawing hundreds of spectators on Greenwich Avenue to watch the show, then to attend the festivities and open houses at participating stores, restaurants and other local businesses. The event kicks off at 5:30 p.m. on September 10 on Greenwich Avenue between Elm Street and Havemeyer Place with remarks to be held in front of The Greenwich Arts Council Building.
