CancerCare's 2016 Greenwich Walk/Run for Hope
The Greenwich Walk/Run for Hope is a USATF-certified and sanctioned 5K family event in support of CancerCare’s free programs and services for Connecticut patients, caregivers and loved ones impacted by cancer.
With a children’s fun run complete with medals for all the junior participants, activities for kids of all ages and locally sponsored snacks and beverages, this special event is an opportunity for businesses and residents alike to show their support for people affected by all cancers, celebrate survivors and remember loved ones.
The size and scope of CancerCare has grown tremendously since 1944, but it has never wavered from its mission of providing help and hope.
